The Jaguars defeated the No. 9A ranked LPGE/BR 41-23 (9-5 match split). The Jaguars on parents night made them extremely proud of the teams performance. They defeated four ranked wrestlers from LPGE/BR in the dual. The LPGE/BR will likely be the No. 1 seed in Section 7A, which includes No. 6A and No. 7A ranked teams. The Jaguars are now 17-5 on the season in dual meets. Special Note: Maximus Hanson BBE 11th 170 Pounds Won His 150th Career Match.
The Huskers defeated a pair of AAA foes at the Sartell-St. Stephen “Sabres” Triangular. They defeated their neighbors Sartell-St. Stephen 51-23 and Moorhead 51-30. Wyatt Pilarski (120), Evan Petron (126), Masyn Patrick (132), Drew Lange (160), Luke Bieniek (182) and Jaxon Bartkowicz (195) all went 2-0. The Huskers had a very good team performance with three big wins at their home quadrangular. They defeated Central Minnesota Conference rivals Paynesville Area 32-25 to earn the conference championship. They defeated Section 7A foe Crosby-Ironton 81-0 and AAA Coon Rapids 59-24. Wyatt Pilarski (113), Wyatt Novitzki (120), Evan Petron (132) William Pilarski (145), Drew Lange 160/152) all went 3-0. Casey Knettel (106), Kolton Harren (152), Jaxon Bartkowicz (182) and Wyatt Miller (285) all went 2-1. Simon Boeckman (138) Luke Bieniek (170), Teddy Auer (132) and Blake Scegura (220) all went 2–0.
The Royals defeated a pair of Class A rivals at the ACGC “Falcons” Quadrangular. They defeated Lean and Mean WCA 35-34 and ACGC 46-17. They were defeated by Central MN Conference rivals and No. 8A ranked BBE 48-19. Tucker Simmons (120), Lane Olson (126), Kaden Holm (195) and Brandon Mugg (285) all went 3-0. Will Gorecki (145), Sawyer Simmons (152), Jake Leners (170) and Bryce Holm (220) all went 2-1. The Royals were defeated by their neighbors Section 7AA rivals Pierz in a very good dual meet. The dual ended 36-28 with 8-6 match split. The Royals lost three very close matches.
LONG PRAIRIE-GREY EAGLE/BROWERVILLE WOLVES
The Wolves were defeated by the No. 5A ranked Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa 41-23 (5-9 match split. There were a few individual upsets thru out this dual. The Wolves defeated a pair of Section 4A teams at the Eden Valley-Watkins “Eagles” Quadrangular. They defeated Kimball 51-20, Eden Valley-Watkins 66-12, they were defeated by AA New Ulm 34-32. Connor Flan (132), Tucker Zigan (160), Tate Twardowski (182) and Alex Line (220) all went 3-0. Brodie Pachan (106), Nathan Britz (152) and Andre Recknor (195) all went 2-1, Logan Thom (113) and Justin Houdek (138) both went 2-0.
HOWARD LAKE-WAVERLY-WINSTED LAKERS
The Lakers had a good night at their quad, with wins over Section 4A rivals Sibley East (70-4) and Trinity United 76-0. They were defeated by Wright County Conference rival No. 5AA ranked Watertown-Mayer 36-25. Raydon Graham, Steve Heber, Mitch Mallak, Caleb Boese, Tyler Graczyk and Colton Long all went 3-0. Caleb Michels, Tony Baumann, Matt Busse and Jacob Duske all went 2-1.
The Lakers had a big night with a pair of wins at the Delano “Tigers” Triangular. They defeated Delano 72-3 and Milaca-Faith Christian 45-24. Raydon Graham, Caleb Michels, Tony Baumann, Mitchell Mallak, Isaac Cain, Collin Boese and Matt Busse all went 2-0.
WEST CENTRAL AREA/ASHB-BRANDON-EVANSVILLE KNIGHTS
The Knights had a very good team performance with 229 points with twelve medals, to win the Morris “Dr. Busian” Tournament. Owen Guchow (106), Hunter Gruchow (145), Soloman Wales (152), Anthony Sykora (182) and Justin Blascyk (285) all earned championship medals. Beau. Robinson (182) and Will Rustan (220) both earned second place. Carter Lohse (126), Adam Loshe (138), Ezekiel Sieckert (160) all earned third place. Jeremy Blascyk (170) earned fifth place and Sam Olson (138) took sixth place.
KERKHOVEN-MURDOCK-SUNBURG FIGHTING SAINTS
The Fighting Saints split duals at the Pierz “Pioneers” triangular, they defeated AA Albany 54-21. They were defeated by Section 7AA foe Pierz 41-29. Trey Gunderson (126), Jett Olson (145), Luke Froelich (170), Masyn Olson (195), Owen Kidrowski (220) and Jason Jones (285) all went 2-0. The Fighting Saints earned fifth place with 109.5 points at the Morris “Dr. Busian” Tournament. They earned nine medals, Trey Gunderson (120) earned a championship medal. Cole Froelich (113) and Jett Olson (145) both earned second place and Collin Johnson (182) earned third place. Colton Noble (106), Aaron Jones (170) and Owen Kiderowski (220) all earned fourth place, Noah Johnson (138) earned fifth place and Masyn Olson (195 ) took sixth place.
PAYNESVILLE AREA BULLDOGS
The Bulldogs went 2-1 at the Holdingford “Huskers” Quadrangular. They defeated AAA Coon Rapids 69-19 and Section 7A foe Crosby-Ironton 78-6. They were defeated by the No. 6A ranked Central Minnesota Conference rivals Holdingford 32-25 in a very good dual. Payton Hemmesch (182), Seth Vearrier (195) and Spencer Eisenbraun (285) all went 3-0. Mason McNab (126), Mason Hansen (138), Mitch Blonigen (145, Jose Anaya (152) and Aaron Mages (170) all went 2-1. Carson Suchy (113) and Kevin Raya-Botello (220) went 2-0.
BERTHA-HEWITT/VERNDALE/PARKERS. PRAIRIE RAIDERS
The Raiders earned second place with 182 points and eleven place winners at the Park Region Conference. Orran Hart (113), Bennet Arceneau (132) and Justin Koehn (170) all earned championships. Hudson Truax (106), Justin Olson (120), Cayden Kimber (160) and Braden Shamp (220) all earned second place. Deagan Captain (138), David Revering (145) and Hunter Strom (285) all earned third place and Evan Jares (126) earned fourth place. The Raiders were defeated by No. 5AAA ranked Bemidji 54-17.
UNITED NORTH CENTRAL WARRIORS
The Warriors split duals with a pair of conference rivals, they defeated OTC 75-6 and they were defeated by Lean and Mean BHV/PP 30-28. Zach Hendrickson (132), Riley Livingston (160), Shawn Hendrickson (195) and Marcus Peterson (285) all went 2-0. The Warriors had a very good team performance with 187.5 points and thirteen place winners to earn the Park Region Conference championship. Conrad Koll (120), Wyatt Olson (138), Hank Tellers (145) and Marcus Peterson (285) all earned championships. Zach Hendrickson (132), Zach Davidson (152) and Shawn Hendrickson (195) all earned second place. Aaron Lake (126) earned third place, Rhett Anderson (113), Levi Olson (106), Riley Levingston (160), Eli Roiko and Ryan Peterson (220) all earned fourth place.
The Warriors defeated a pair of AA teams; Detroit Lakes 45-22 and United Clay Becker 75-3. Levi Olson (106), Rhett Anderson (113), Conrad Koll (120), Zach Hendrickson (126), Fordyce Johnson (132), Wyatt Olson (138), Eli Roiko (170) and Shawn Hendrickson (220) all went 2-0.
BORDER WEST BUCCANEERS
The Buccaneers went 1-2 at the Benson “Braves” quadrangular, they defeated section 6A rival Osakis 39-27. they were defeated by No. 12A Minneota 54-18 and Section 5A foe Benson 42-40. Cole Sykora, Eli Larson and Jude Olson all went 3-0, Gunner Hennessy, Kevin Casper, Brady Nachbor and Andrew Hennessy went 2-1.
The Cardinals defeated two foes at the Deer River “Warriors” Triangular. They defeated Section 7A foe Deer River 37-36 and Section 7AA foe Hibbing 52-28. Eli Greenwaldt, Turner Beachy, Riley Reese, Jason Trantina, Colbe Tappe, Luke Bjerga and Adrian Gomez all went 2-0.
The Bulldogs had a big night with a pair of wins over their Section 6AA rivals. They defeated Rocori 37-31 and Foley 52-16. Bennet Kujawa (106/113), Kaden Nicolas (126), Landen Kujawa (132/138), Drew May (138/145), Ethan Duncombe (152/160), Adam Jurek (170) and Dylan Weber (182) all went 2-0. The Bulldogs had a very good tournament performance with 231.5 points and sixteen that earned medals. Kaden Nicolas (126/36-4), Landen Kujawa (132/30-6), Ethan Duncombe (152/27-9), Adam Jurek (160/31-7), Tyson Ricker (182/35-1) and Dylan Kolby (220/16-2) all earned championship medals. Bennett Kujawa (106/22-14), Drew May (138/29-11), Owen Angell (160/27-10) and Dylan Weber (170/22-15) all earned second place. Boston Kuschel (106/13-6), Nolan Jurek (120/6-13), Jake Rosenow (145/9-9) all earned third place, Blayne Kuschel (113/11-8) and Nolan Muellner (145/4-7) all earned fourth place and Lance Lysdal (195/7-9) took sixth place.
The Royals defeated three rivals at the New London-Spicer “Wildcats” quadrangular. They defeated Section 2AA rivals No. 9AA ranked Hutchinson 63-7, New London-Spicer 63-7. And Morris Area 68-12. Joel Friedrichs, Kaleb Mead, Titan Friedrichs, Parker Jackson, Jonah Hamberger, Jack Entinger and Ian Burau all went 3-0. Eli Hamberger and Bryce Burmeister both went 2-1 and Patrick Duske and Kyler Burmeister both went 2-0.
ANNANDALE-MAPLE LAKE LIGHTNING
The Lightning had two big wins at the Mound-Westonka “Knight Hawks” triangular. They defeated Mound-Westonka 56-17 and Section 6AA foe DC/LITCH 61-13. Cassen Brumm (106), Porter Pribyl (113), Jack Nilson (138), Cole LaFave (152) Carson Cooper (160), Shay McClory (182), Alex Sunburg (195) and Nathan Klatt (220) all went 2-0. The Lighting defeated two Section 6AA foes Rocori 49-20 and St. Francis 63-10. Jack Nilson 9138), Mitch Koss (145), Carson Cooper (160), Riley Hall (170) and Adam Klatt (285), Porter Pribyl (106/113), Cassen Brumm (106/113), Xavier Jones (120) and Noah Gindele (132) all went 2-0.
PEQUOT LAKES/PINE RIVER-BACKUS ROAD CREW
The Road Crew defeated their neighbors Crosby-Ironton 72-6.
The Mustangs defeated Granite Ridge Conference rivals Little Falls 42-19, this win earned them the conference championship.
The United won a pair of duals at the Canby “Lancers” triangular. They defeated No. 8A ranked Canby 34-33 and ACGC 60-18. Ben Gunlogson, Daniel Gunlogson, Ethan Moravetz, Parker Bothun, Landon Olson and Brady Rhode all went 2-0. The United earned second place at the Albany “Purple Pride” tournament with 209 points and they earned thirteen medals. Ben Gunlogson (106), Holland Schancherer (120), Zander Clausen (138) and Holt Larson (170) all earned championship medals. Daniel Gunlogson (126), Kameron Sather (132), Parker Bothun (195) and Landon Olson (220) all earned second place. Ethan Moravetz (152) and Zach DeBeer (220) both earned third place and Brady Rhode (285) both earned fourth place. Mason Pederson (182) earned fifth place and Gabe Lowry (145) took sixth place.
The Pioneers defeated three Section 7AA rivals at the Cloquet Quadrangular. They defeated Rush City/Braham 62-8, Rock Ridge 61-6 and Cloquet 69-9. Kyle Stangl, Carter Young, Derek Stangl, Chase Becker, Jayden Zajac, Wyatt Dingmann and Jack Byker all went 3-0. Jacob LeBlanc, Caleb Koch, Bradley Tanner and Nathan Nash all went 2-1 and Cash Fussy and Derrick Przybilla both went 2-0. The Pioneers defeated their rivals and neighbors No. 7A ranked Royalton-Upsala 36-28 (8-6 match split) in a very good dual. The Pioneers defeated a pair of rivals at the Foley “Falcon” triangular. They defeated Granite Ridge Conference rival Foley 32-21 and Sauk Rapids-Rice 76-3. Kyle Stangl, Carter Young, Derek Stangl, Chase Becker, Jayden Zajac, Caleb Koch and Wyatt Dingmann all went 2-0.
The Spartans were defeated by a pair of Section 6AA rivals; No. 3AA ranked Becker 55-9 and Foley 37-31. Kameron Moscho (113) and Grady Minnerath (285) both went 2-0. They were defeated by a pair of Section 6AA teams at the AN/ML triangular. They lost to No. 11AA ranked Annandale/Maple Lake 40-22 and to St. Francis 37-36 (on criteria/matches 8-6).
The Falcons split a pair of duals with Section 6AA rivals, they defeated Rocori 37-31 and they were defeated by No. 3AA ranked Becker 52-16. Cyler Ruhoff (120), Cole Rudnitski (145) and Gavin Owen (220) all went 2-0. The Falcons split duals at their home triangular. They defeated Section 6AA foe Sauk Rapids-Rice 66-9. NEW LONDON-SPICER WILDCATS
The Wildcats hosted a quad; they defeated rivals MAHACA 49-27. they were defeated by No. 5AA Watertown-Mayer 63-7 and No. 9AA ranked Hutchinson 41-29. MILACA-FAITH CHRISTIAN WOLVES
The Wolves defeated AAA Sartell-St. Stephen 65-9. The Wolves split their duals at the Delano “Tigers” triangular. The defeated Delano 53-18 and lost to No. 11A Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted 45-24. Lincoln Starr, Jack Schoenborn, Jack Nord and Logan Ash all went 2-0.
ALEXANDRIA AREA CARDINALS
The Cardinals defeated a pair of Section 8AA rivals at their home triangular. They defeated Albany 60-24 and Sauk Centre/Melrose 72-12. Nolan Fettig, Logan Timm, Mason Mcgrane, Blaze Nelson, Kelly Johnson, Landon Seward, Colby Vatnsdal and Luke Maanum all went 2-0. The Cardinals split duals at the Willmar “Cardinal” triangular, they defeated Central Lakes Conference rivals Sauk Rapids-Rice 60-18. They were defeated by conference rivals and AAA Lean and Mean Willmar 59-7. Nolan Fettig and Luke Maanum both went 2-0.
SAINT MICHAEL-ALBERTVILLE KNIGHTS
The Knights defeated Section rivals Wayzata 45-24 (9-5 match split).
The Lumberjacks defeated Class A Lean and Mean Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale/Parkers Prairie 54-17. They split duals, they defeated No. 11AAA ranked Shakopee 38-26 and they dropped one to No. 3AAA ranked Hastings 42-25. Brady Castonguay, Al Newby, Dane Jorgensen, Parker Orvik and Hunter Heim all went 2-0.
The Cardinals defeated a pair of teams at their home triangular, they defeated Section 8AAA rivals Moorhead 59-18 and Section 8AA Perham 39-18. Cavin Carlson, Ivan Mares, Sulley Anez, Conlan Carlson, Isaac Zelaya-Velasquez, Mattix Swanson and Braeden Erickson all went 2-0. The Cardinals hosted their second triangular of the week. The defeated Central Lakes Conference rivals, Alexandria 59-3 and Sauk Rapid-Rice 78-3. Lawson Anez, Cavin Carlson, Ivan Mares, Sulley Anez, Conlan Carlson, Cameron Champagne, Mattix Swanson, Braeden Erickson, Steve Cruze, Romero Trevino and Zander Miska all went 2-0.
CAMBRIDGE-ISANTI BLUE JACKETS
The Blue Jackets defeated three AAA foes at their home quadrangular; they defeated Farmington 43-24, White Bear Lake 48-21 and Irondale 70-12. Wyatt Wald, Leo Edblad, Blaine Wald, Quinton Harcey, Maverick Henderson, Treytin Byers and Darren Spencer all went 3-0. Jacob Henderson went 2-1 and Brady Anderson went 2-0.
LITTLE FALLS FLYERS
The Flyers were defeated by Granite Ridge Conference rivals No. 8AA Mora 52-19.
The Warriors defeated two Central Lakes Conference foes Fergus Falls 59-15 and St. Cloud Crush 60-16. Nolan Jukish, Cade Ostrowksi, Easton Dircks, Isaiah Germann, Isaiah Jillson, Gabe Jukish, Shane Carlson and Eli Wiskow all went 2-0. The Warriors earned third place with 158.5 points and fifteen medal winners, they took third place at the Mound Westonka “Leopold Haglund” tournament. Easton Dircks (132), Isaiah Jillson (145) and Shawn Carlson (182) all earned championship medals. Cade Ostrowski (120) and Isaiah Germann (138) both earned third place, Jackson Berhow (106), Cassidy Fleischhaker (113) and Eli Wiskow (2200 all earned fourth place. Ethan Kosloski (195) and Gabe Jukish (152) and Cale Ostrowski (132) all earned fifth place, Nolan Jukish (113) and Damien Bentho (170) earned sixth place and Lukes Lind (138) took seventh place.
The Royals defeated their neighbors Park Center 57-20 (10-4 match split) The Royals were defeated two by conference rivals; Andover 48-30 and Big Lake 48-29. Cole Jordan, Grady Weinbrenner and Ty Cassidy went 2-0.
ST. CLOUD CRUSH
The Crush were defeated by two Central Lakes Conference rivals at the Fergus Falls “Otters” triangular. They were defeated by Brainerd 60-16 and Fergus Falls 53-24. Kendall Booker (106) and Tucker Hugg (285) both went 2-0. The Crush earned three medals at the Albany “Purple Pride” tournament. Tucker Hugg (285) earned a championship medal, Tim Lawal (195) earned fourth place and Aidan Marin (106) took sixth place.
The Bison defeated three foes at the Minnetonka “Skippers” Quadrangular. They defeated the host Minnetonka 46-30, St. Benilde-St. Margaret 40-18 and Mpls. South 51-6. Dylan Keeler, Max Carter, Matt Carlson, Aiden Herbst, Jacobee Scherber and Carter Walker went 3-0. Jonah Anderson, Hunter Spike and August Kaiser went 2-1.
SARTELL-ST. STEPHEN SABRES
The Sabres were defeated by Section 6AA foe Milaca-Faith Christian 65-9.
